James Last, pseudonimo di Hans Last (Brema, 17 aprile 1929 – Palm Beach, 9 giugno 2015), è stato un musicista, compositore, direttore d'orchestra e bandleader tedesco. Autore di numerose musiche per il cinema, è stato anche arrangiatore e produttore discografico. Spesso si è esibito in duo, nelle sessioni di registrazione e dal vivo, con il pianista Richard Clayderman.
