TV News Inc (TVN), syndicated news service for TV station, on Jan 9 discloses plans to distribute its video news materials nationally by Westar, domestic communications satellite operated by Western Union; has been using land lines of AT&T to serve its 37 subscribers in US and and 36 in Canada; proposal to distribute to Westar is subject to approval of FCC; news service pres Jack G Wilson notes that because of AT&T's recent rate increase on land lines, satellite distribution would save co; Wilson notes bd of TVN has authorized expenditure of up to $11-million over next few yrs to construct network of earth stations; Maurice W Schonfeld, vp of operations for TVN, estimates that stations will cost about $100,000 each; says that with FCC approval TVN will have 20 earth stations constructed by July and 35 by Aug (M)
